Rhiannon is a Scottish Canadian Artist from Hamilton, Ontario. Originally taught by her late Grandmother, she began rekindling her relationship with flat stitch bead embroidery in high school. She uses beadwork, digital art, glass work, painting and creating as a way to connect to her identity and heritage. She attempts to make modern pieces inspired by her Celtic and Scottish ancestry. She uses bead work as medium to re imagine what traditional is, and means to Celtic people. She strives to incorporate traditional materials, oral histories, and language into a modern cast.
