The Celtic Hounds are a significant symbol in all branches of Celtic culture. Appearing in the Book of Kells, along with oral stories, hounds are a symbol to remind us of the wild hunt, and the worship of the land. Throughout oral history the Hounds were natural guardians, guides who would lead lost souls to the other world with safe passage. Much like the Celtic Knot, the connected nature of the Chasing Hounds is a teaching about the cyclical nature of life, and interconnections of living.
The Chasing Hounds is a classic Celtic symbol, which has been redesigned and revamped by me. Featuring my logo on the back displaying my Raven, Pios Ealain meaning a piece of art in Scottish Gaelic, and the Ogham translation.
• 26% cotton, 74% polyester
• 3″ (7.6 cm) in diameter
