Forget me not pendant

Handmade beaded floral forget me not necklace. Forget me nots appear repeatedly throughout Celtic myth. One of the most well known tales tells a story of a knight and his lover reaching down by the riverside to pick a bundle of flowers. He bent, unbalanced at the edge of the water, the weight of his suit of armour tipping him over. He fell into the river, caught by the streams current, he threw her the blue pedaled flowers shouting “forget me not” as the river carried him away. Forget me nots are representative of remembrance, of true love between friends and lovers.
