The Yule goat is a traditional symbol to celebrate the Yule Holiday. Yule is a Germanic pagan Winter Solstice celebration that begins December 21st, to celebrate the longest, night of the year before the days begin to extend.

The Yule goat is often depicted in straw, with red cloth ribbons to signify the beginning of Yule, it's origins believed to date back to Norse history, the straw intended to signify the bringing of a bountiful harvest in the new year.

These Yule goats are made in velvet, edged in precious metal plated beads, and finished with a bell. They are double sided, so no matter where they perch on your tree, they can be seen.
